Last October 17, students from the Tutorial and Language Center of Enderun Colleges, Manila visited the Money Museum and Metropolitan Museum of Manila both located within the compound of the Bangko Sentral ng Pilipinas (Central Bank of the Philippines).

TLC’s very first museum tour aims to integrate classroom learning with extra-curricular activities, inculcate camaraderie among the students, expose the students to Philippine culture and promote awareness of past and present economic issues of the Philippines.

The students first visited the money museum that showcases Philippine coins, paper notes, medals, artifacts and monetary items used in the past century.

The Metropolitan Museum of Manila (MET) exposed the students to pre-colonial, modern and contemporary Philippine art. The MET tour did not only promote Philippine art and culture, but also the values of excellence and social responsibility through various artwork of notable Filipino artists.
